Development season
Expressions of interest open now!
Are you an emerging playwright or performance-maker with an idea for a show, a first draft needing an extra push or a polished piece moving toward production? Apply now for our 2024 development season!
We are looking for unfinished works that challenge form and tradition to be developed with the company throughout the year. Dramaturgy and development are crucial steps to the life of any performed work, and we strive to make this process more accessible for independent artists. Works in the development season can be anything from dance works, plays, musical theatre, poetry or other performance artforms.
We have four places available for development across the year. We will negotiate with successful applicants regarding what the development will look like, including but not limited to dramaturgy, open or closed readings and devising sessions with theatrePUNK collective artists. This is an unpaid opportunity with in-kind support provided by TPC.

General Auditions
Every year we hold general auditions for our productions in the next year's season.
Whether your interests lie in performing, design, dramaturgy or directing, we want to hear from you. we're looking for new collaborators to have official positions as artists in our new works rocking the stage in 2023. from drag poetry to absurdist theatre, to feminist dance theatre presented across Brisbane in non-conventional performance spaces and established venues-we've got a variety of offerings ready for some emerging artists to get their hands stuck into.
